Yesterday was Colby's first day with a new babysitter. I always get anxious when he's with someone new, even if I trust them 125%. I think about him more often during the day. I wonder how he's doing. Whether his teeth are bothering him. Whether he's bothering the new babysitter. I always worry, and so I come on his website and look at recent photos to help calm me. These ones I adore. He's simply playing in his room right before bed, and is having a fantastic time. And then he sees mommy and flashes her the biggest smile. I love these so much, and I wanted to make your day brighter too.
Apparently Grandma M doesn't have enough water pictures of Colby, or something. Not that 75% of this blog is water-related lately. Its because Colby's hooked. Splashing in shallow water is one of his favorite activities right now, along with smacking mom's nose and rubbing daddy's beard stubble. And just to make sure she gets a good one, I overloaded you guys today. So here's Colby and James splashing away!
Colby loves this dog so much. This is grandma's chocolate lab, named Hershey. My 10 month old can say Hershey, but has trouble saying mama. Hows that for ironic?
Colby is getting teeth in the weirdest order. First his bottom two teeth came in, and then one top middle one, and then one top side one, then he's working on another side and middle one. To see him smile is hilarious. He looks like a little Jack O Lattern.
Colby is teething. I'm sure you can't tell from these pictures. The grumpiness. The endless line of drool. And the white underneath the gum line. However, these pics are just adorable!
We spent the Friday on the beaches of Bear Lake with the Parry's and the Jex's (James pictured above). Colby loved the water. It was a great temperature, and shallow enough that he could sit by himself and splash all day. He loved playing with the mud in the water, and attempted eating it. Sadly, mom stopped him. It could've been real yummy.
